My name is James Wellington Fox, also known as DJ Foxfire, I am a senior at Towson University in Baltimore, MD. Music has been an integral part of my life. I started playing piano at three years old and have won numerous awards and competitions throughout my playing career. I have also played trumpet for 11 years and am currently playing lead trumpet in the music department at Towson University in several ensembles. I am also studying under the assistant-principal trumpet player for the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra. I am grateful to have perfect pitch, which makes music like a second language to me. I have acquired an ear that allows me to identify pitches and keys, making it extremely easy to mix two or more songs together. As a result, mashups have become my passion and I have recently started composing my own electronic music. I have been posted on national blogs such as The Kollection, Dirty Mexican Lemonade Music, Earmilk, Sunset in the Rearview, Fighting Musical Ignorance, and and am an affiliated artist at The Most Unreal Beats.
