Live on Simple & Slide's Bank Holiday Boat Party (Aug 2009)

So this is it, end of Summer. At least that's what we call this August Bank Holiday boat party. The weather didn't disappoint either. I mean, in true British form, it was a bit grey, dull and not Summer-like. So yeah, the end of Summer! Moaning aside (and to be honest, I love the quirky character of the British weather), the music and the people make these boat parties what they are, and you don't need much more than that—except for maybe the odd beverage or two ;)

I was given a middling to peak-time slot and started playing after Dan Holmes who played some spacey disco vibes, so Baltic Pine seemed like the perfect starting point. Mixing is my usual rough & ready style with some knob-twiddling filter-fiddling and that trademark kick scratch. There's also actual crowd ambience mixed in too. More photos on the Simple website.
