About
Born in Dubrovnik, Croatia, Jaksa Pavicevic started his DJ campaign back in 1997.
Music he was into at the very start was techno of mid and late '90s with artists such as Bryan Zentz,
Misstress Barbara, Trevor Rocksliffe being his favorites. It was techno on a funkier flip that captured him,
yet he loved to mix it with other electronic music styles in order to develop his
original style and give himself more room for creativity, playing and experimenting with music. Through years his
sound changed and evolved, nowdays bordering between house and techno with plenty of groove sure to please any
dancefloor worldwide.
2005. sees Jaksa producing his first beats. 'It was 'some nice music with crappy sound back then" he'll say,
and its perfectly normal for every begginer. ''Always trying to beat the tune I did previously'' is the moto by
the Croatian who's work today is recognized by labels such as Restructured, Proton's Particles, Behaviors, Olaris,
Silk and Etoka.
Named as "one of Proton's core artists pushing the deep house sound" by Jay Epoch, Jaksa always tries to bring
something new and innovative in the music which he fully represented in "The Days of Mess and Disorder" album
released December 2010 on his A Must Have imprint.
Proud owner of A Must Have and Abandon labels, he uses these as a platform for releasing only finest in
electronic music.
