Born in Dubrovnik, Croatia, Jaksa Pavicevic starts his dj career back in 1997 influenced by the techno scene of late 90's. Soon after he started to explore other electronic music genres as well, in order to develop his unique style and sound. That was obviously a benefit to his dj sets, which became more exciting and less predictable. His sound today borders between progressive house and techno with plenty of groove in it, sure to please any dancefloor worldwide. 2004. sees Jaksa producing his first songs. Influenced by pretty much all music he listens, from Sigur Ros to Detroit Techno, Miles Davis to John Frusciante, he works on constant upgrading of his music. Together with Dj Gunch he started his own "A Must Have Rec." imprint back in 2005 and this is where majority of his past & future works can be found. Beside running "A Must Have" on his own today, Jaksa releases his music under Jay Epoch's Proton Particles, Behaviours, Etoka, Silk and Panda Recordings. Upgrading and developing of his sound is still the main goal for young Croatian as more interesting projects and releases approaches.
