JAHADIS BIO
Do you know who Jahad Is? Well let me tell you in my own words because who know me better than I know myself huh? LOL. Born as an 80's baby in Orlando, Fl raised by the caring woman in he's life (Mable Curry- grandmother and her two daughter's- Linda and Shirley Curry) he would soon discover he would develop the charm to presue woman with not to much effort. Basically born with the music flowing through he’s veins with he’s biological mother being an extremely good vocalist and my grandfather which is her father being a extraordinary instrument musician. It was just distant for Darryl “Jahadis” Corley to find out what talent he behold.
Like every young kid that had a dream at a young age, Jahadis first dream was to play in the NBA. Though he wrote he’s first rhyme at the tender age of 8, all he wanted was to be like he’s favorite basket ball player Allen Iverson, but the low grades Jahadis would earn would soon prevent him from ever achieving that NBA dream. Never giving up Jahadis decide to pick the pin back up and perfecting he’s writing skills at 14. With he’s dynamic, versatile, and seductive style of flow. He soon found him self on stage doing he’s first performance at age of 15 with he’s mother’s former group Seductive Voice. Laying down the whole verse of 16 bars from he’s own thoughts quickly generated a small local buzz around the Polk and Hillsborough County area.
Shortly after drawing the attention of Seductive Voices manager Chris Young, Jahadis was soon introduced to Top Dogg Records CEO Jonathan Bell. After Chris set up a meeting for Jahadis and Jonathan to meet, Jonathan was blow away with the talent this young artist poses at such a tender. At once even comparing him to some of the greatest of all time just with the way he delivers and get so deep in depth with the words he’s using in he’s songs. Jahadis soon signed a deal with Top Dogg Records and got to work with fellow artist Boi Durty. After pushing out certified bangers like “Mean Muggin” and he’s first solo single “Stop. . . . And Pause For Minute” and a few business discussions that didn’t settle out as planned for either artist of label, both parties decided it was best to split ways.
After spitting ways with Top Dogg Record and dropping he’s former stage name Young Spade, Jahadis decided that it was time for a drastic change. Especially after losing the closes person to him in life, he’s grandmother -Mable Curry, Jahadis changed into a totally different person from that point. Facing a point in he’s life where the mother of he’s life was just token away, no income, and all he has is a dream to decide if it’s the right decision to keep chasing it or let it get away. But in the last conversation Jahad had with he’s loving grandmother she made him promise her that he wont give up on he’s music career. . . . .And that exactly what he did. Losing he’s grandmother in the year of 2007, Jahadis has been on a mission the pursue he’s music career.
Now on a motivation train that he’s built since the death of he’s grandmother that he installed with no brakes, Jahad is on the MOVE!!!!! Started he’s on company in 2009 titled Go Hard Entertainment with he’s brother Derrick “Fly Guy Ty” and best friend Ray “Swagga Fresh” Doll. Go Hard Entetainment and Jahadis and bound to make them self’s a house hold name in the entertainment industry. With word play that’s like foreplay for the ladies, and with a swag that only real niggas can relate to, Jahadis is sure not only to be a STAR but to stay grounded like any other regular cities trying to get by from day-to-day. So when I write music for my from my thought’s, I keep in mind that I’m no better than no one that walks this earth. You may be a little more seasoned in some things than I am and vice versa, better remember we all have flaws and positives and that’s what make’s you, YOU. And me, ME. Just whatever you do, make sure you GO HARD at it”. JAHAD GO HARD HOMIE!!!!!!
