Born and raised in the El Paso Chihuahua Mexico area, Jacob Riveroll (Poetic Ju$tice), started his musical journey when he was 6, when he stole a Paul Oakenfold record belonging to his Dad. It was at this moment that Jacob Riveroll knew he wanted to be part of 'The Scene'.
He first became interested in the electronic music scene in 1996. In 2004, aged 14, he illegally downloaded a mixing program called Reason. At the age of 17, he was already being touted as El Paso's answer to the underground electronic dance music scene, preforming at D Club. He did various warm up sets before the doors opened in clubs hosting major names such as Andy C, Dubfire, Ratpack (doing a live PA of Searching for my Rizla), James Zabiela, and many more. In 2009, he achieved his big break when he won a competition to carry Paul Van Dyks record bag to an exclusive rave, which Poetic Ju$tice described as "The greatest fucken night of my pitiful life". It was after this point when he started getting gigs at big events such as The Liaisons Show, The Hallucinations Tour and many more.
After receiving several offers, Poetic Ju$tice joined a local record company called Paradox Recordings, who helped distribute his first internet release, 'Simple Complications ' in 2010. Though the single didn't sell as many as he probably would have liked, Poetic Ju$tice is a fighter and since 2011 has been locked in the studio perfecting his craft.
Suffice to say, the electronic dance music scene should be expecting big things from Poetic Ju$tice in 2013. After signing a 6 single internet release contract by Rewind Records from the UK in late 2012, Jacob Riveroll has already reached the top ranks of local underground DJ's.
