so I'm reading this crazy scifi book from the seventies called The Jesus Incident, and there are these giant organic floating blimp-creatures called Hylighters. Filled with hydrogen, resembling giant jellyfish, they drag big rocks for ballast, until they grab their prey with any free tentacles and they release the rock to float upwards...I don't think anyone, even the author, has any idea what happens after that...where do they go? How do they get down? I sure don't know, but making this song I was thinking about them floating.

    - Update - Just found this picture, looks pretty close to what I imagined the hylighters looked like :) they must have read the same book.
