BIO

Philadelphia based producer/multi-instrumentalist Jack Deezl has created a sound that defies definition, blending elements of Heavy Bass, Hip-Hop, Punk Rock and more, always surpassing his previous work and expanding on his unique sound with each album, from last year's Unrest EP released on Actual Records to his Empty Hearted EP released via his own imprint label Glitch Squad.

Jack Deezl began writing music at a very young age, picking up the guitar at age 8 and playing in several bands growing up before starting to produce electronic music at age 17. In 2012, Jack Deezl released his debut EP, titled Unrest, on a limited vinyl pressing with Philadelphia indie label Actual Records. Word quickly spread, gaining Deezl an impressive amount of followers all over the east coast and worldwide on the internet, amassing hundreds of thousands of plays on his soundcloud and playing hundreds of shows along the east coast over the course of a few short years.

Having already gained recognition for his unique sound, creativity, and stellar live performances, at the young age of 21, Jack Deezl has already amassed an impressive 7000+ followers on his Soundcloud page and has shared the stage with acts such as Birdy Nam Nam, Kill the Noise, Designer Drugs, Big Gigantic, Seven Lions, and many more. Jack Deezl has instantly become a mainstay of the Philly electronic music scene, from regularly opening up shows at the biggest EDM venue in the city, SoundGarden Hall, to headlining underground warehouse shows in his home city. With the release of his debut full length album, Disillusion, slated for late 2013, the stage is set for Jack Deezl and the Actual Records crew to take over the stages of the world with their unstoppable energy and creativity. With more and more tour dates being added everyday and rumors of a live band to be debuted with the release of the Disillusion LP, you're bound to see Jack Deezl tearing up a sound system near you soon.
