Here is an idea of what the sounds are like live!:
Here are a couple of kind words from various venues and people:
"Jack Gramski is a gutsy young singer songwriter from Melbourne, who with guitar and harp (Dylan style) delivered a powerful performance of original material."
John McAuslan in regards to the National Folk Festival 2012
" Jack Gramski is an young singer-songwriter honing his skills in the classic styles of Cohen and Dylan; a modern poet of his generation. Keep an ear out for his latest album and an accompanying EP for release very shortly"
Anthony 'ToK' Norris
Engineer at ToKwerx/Former Trumpet player for Joe Camilleri
"Jack Gramski is a raw talent and when he played at The Melbourne Folk Club he made us laugh and think. He reminded me of a young Bob Dylan but with a better voice.
His song "Street Ramblin' global warming and terrorism blues" is well written and very entertaining. His guitar style compliments his songs which are varied and well crafted and belie his young age. I have no doubt he will be get better as he gets older and I will watch his progress with interest. "
The Melbourne Folk Club
"Now this guy, Jack Gramski, is a songwriting and performance phenomenon, he captivated the audience with a Dylanesque folk style, he also had a tambourine nailed to his sneaker! We might of witnessed history"
- Lukey Luke
(Torquay Hotel Open Mic Organiser)
"There were a lot of interesting acts, including an original guy who I had to equate in my mind as a “punk Bob Dylan.” That was Jack Gramski, and his songs for the most part were incredibly influenced by Bob Dylan, but with a cool angry punk delivery."
- Brad Spurgeon, Journalist@ International Herald Tribune
"Jack Gramski took command of the stage and did not let go, making us all sit up and
take notice of his songs and delivery. He did four original numbers, many of which were in the Dylan style but with
lyrics that spoke to today‟s audiences. His opening number was “Jack G” which featured Guitar and Harmonica
and had lyrics which not only said good and necessary things, made sense and rhymed, but were also sung
articulately so that one could understand them and reflect on their meanings"
