Jason McCreadie aka - Jace Syntax, has been DJing since 1990, when he
became obsessed with acid house and techno. He has since then DJd all
over Scotland and has been producing his own music for over a decade.
He ran one of Glasgow's most successful underground club nights for 12
years, alongside Blackjack, and the Pusspower crew in Glasgow Art School and The Soundhaus
under the name - Syntax. The night featured many heavyweight tech-house acts, including: Twitch, Pussypower, Pure Science, Mark Ambrose, Blake Baxter, Aubrey, Derrick Thompson and Nathan Coles, to name but a few and was ran along with hel and artwork from Glasgow artist Ryan Exidore RIP.
During the last couple of years, he has focused on his music
production and designing artwork, and has had a string of quality
releases, as well as starting his own successful design business - Vectraits.
Jace has released with Mark Ambrose on Crayon records, Unique 3 on Mutate Records, Paul
Mac on Sulamuse Records, Tom Paris on DJ Centre Paris and has released on
Soiree Records in Detroit, on the 'Syntax EP' alongside Blackjack.
His most recent release on new label Murge 'Sinister Microns' was remixed by Colin Dale & Mark
Ambrose and got to no 8 in the must hear tech house chart in and was no 6 in
the beatport secret weapons category in 2012, on top of that Jace does all the art
work for the label.
In April 2013, jace was exstatic to have won a contest to remix vector lovers on Soma records and his release on Soma will be out soon.
