The Berlin based label run by Magda, Marc Houle and Troy Pierce has entered a new chapter. Forever excited by new music, summer 2011 has seen the trio rejuvenate and re-focus on their formerly dormant imprint, Items & Things. Recent releases from the likes of Danny Benedettini and Madato have kick started the label, whilst plenty more golden musical nuggets are already in the pipeline…

Combining the unrestrained tastes of the trio, the label will release music from up and coming names, established stars and the three former Minus artists themselves. “Items and Things are bits and pieces of uniqueness we come across,” they say. “The label is a platform to launch the music that we love. There are no rules, just sounds we like and artists we believe in.”

As well as their label, this techno trio also plans to continue with their boutique Down & Out party series. Aiming to recapture some of the rawness of yesterday, the parties take place in underground venues across the globe, as well around Berlin and at places like Movement Festival, Detroit.

From the weird and the wonderful to the dark and experimental, you can expect it all from Items & Things and Down & Out in the coming months…
