The quintessential post acid house anthem ' Blacker' has been remade for 2012 by the dynamic duo Yambee (Ashley Beedle & Yam Who?). A complete package of hot mixes will be forthcoming on London's Midnight Riot label. Mixes are by Joey Negro, Deadly Sins and by Yambee themselves. Check the Joey Negro mix for a master class in modern day jazz funk!
Originally released in 1994 by The Ballistic Brothers comprising of Ashley Beedle, Rocky & Diesel, Uschi Classen and Dave Hill.
They shared a vision of a hip-hop, house, jazz fusion, reggae, rock, funk and soul that became so influential it inspired the likes of Moodymann, Theo Parrish, Mr. Scruff, Motor City Drum Ensemble, and became one of the biggest anthems for Norman Jay's Good Times.
The Ballistic Brothers are now recognised as a seminal outfit who broke a lot of rules and made some killer music that still gets major props today. Yambee have picked up the baton. The rest is history.

@Nick Sneddon: Initial release will be vinyl. We don't have a date for a Digital release scheduled as yet and the vinyl is only going to be a limited run. We will post a link to pre order the vinyl as soon as we have a definite date shipping date.
