An advanced studio engineer by training and bass music enthusiast by passion, iOh has recently been making a major mark in the world of Drum & Bass. Originally captivated by the sounds of Down-Tempo, Trip-Hop and early Dubstep, Rene Moreno aka iOh was inspired to forge his own path with his music. After completing his studies in studio engineering, iOh began working on his own original productions and founded the Splat Media crew, an event production company centered in the San Fernando Valley of Los Angeles. After throwing several successful weeklies and one-off's with Splat, his original music began to spread and catch the attention of major players in the local scene. Slowly his sound began to shift towards Drum & Bass, and it was around this time that he linked up with fellow Splat Media crew-mate Slogun to form the production duo Slogun & iOh. Their upfront DnB sound caught the attention of Faust & Shortee's Heavy Artillery Recordings, who've been releasing their original tunes and remixes to increasing acclaim ever since. Frequently charting in the Beatport Top 100 and quickly becoming a remixing powerhouse, the duo has seen their productions getting worldwide support from major DJs in the Drum & Bass world. Firmly rooted in DnB yet always with his finger on the pulse of new sounds in bass music, expect to hear lots more from iOh!
