free music... come get ur free music :)

First and foremost before you read my teacher and friends words about me i want to express why i am making music. I believe there is an abundance of hugely important ancient and indigenous information that is not being integrated into our new electronic world... As an American i feel we have shown the wisdom of the worlds indigenous cultures of the lands we touch a tremendous disrespect... now on top of that disassociation to where we come from, as a whole our culture (electronic age) has completely lost touch with our nature in the way we get our meat, build our homes and cities so much still being done without first thinking of the effects we have on all the other earthlings and mother earth herself by our actions... this profit driven mentality is going to kill off our species without an immediate shift... Mother Earth... our mother... where our loved ones lay to rest and become the land. I aim to create a nature injection through sound, bass from a very strong intention to bring the old ways out in a new medium through our instinctual desire to dance. There is so much we can learn so much we can gain through these chants, prayers and medicine songs that have been forgotten or never heard/felt. If this helps a handful of people remember what we are then I have served my purpose. ONE LOVE

InDJnS is Hawaii's only Deejay of Powwow Step and Indigenous based dubstep/trvp/newbass/grime/chill, taking her name from her American Indian background, playing an Indigenous form of dubstep inspired by the original people of the US, the American Indians. Learning at Inov8seaN Studios in Chinatown from Hawaii's own Seantilldawn, Steph has shown the desire, the inspiration, and authenticity to her style that makes for a talented up and comer. As a sober body worker/personal trainer/DJ her athleticism and enthusiasm adds to her performances and her connection spiritually with the crowd to bring a truly pure vibe through the subs. As a resident at Family Wednesday's she is quickly joining the ranks of some of Hawaii's Hottest, Sexiest, and most inspiring female dj's. As a personal health advocate, and originator of Symmetric Rolling SYMMETRICROLLING.COM (a form a myo-fascial release). Steph has brought the intensity she gives to her health and her clients fitness to the decks. InDJnS has quickly gotten some notoriety from her unique style and Powwow Step sets playing at the Hawaii Burning Man Regional Collidiscope, Slow and Low at Lotus nightclub, Katty Womp at the Dragon Upstairs, on air KTUH radio, and outdoor EDM campout events around the island and weekly FireJam. She played a headliner set on Global Gruvz radio show in the Bay Area JUL13 and the Beats for Peace in SF as well. She was the opener at Camp Tetrion 2013 and played Bass Couch and 4 different art cars. Check her out her residency at the Station Bar and Lounge Wednesdays at 10pm and Afterjam on Kapiolani Blvd, Honolulu HI. Desire, great attitude, and focus is guaranteed to make this new up and comer a hot commodity. It is my pleasure to introduce, InDJnS (pronounced Indigenous).

"In many Shamanic Societies, if you came to a medicine person complaining of being dispirited. They would ask you the question... When did you stop dancing?"

U think ur a rebel? A badass? Try saying no when everyone wants u to say yes. Try doing what's right for u when it isn't popular among ur current peers. Give up the food that "THE MAN" that we burn is feeding u (processed, packaged, far from natural, and genetically modified foods). Try being sober and dealing with the world. Try being vulnerable and honest and loving without expectations or holding it over someone's head. That shit takes a bad ass. A rebel. I don't see a lot of rebels with a cause
