Nils Frahm´s penchant for delicate, minimalistic neo-classical piano music has made him a kindred spirit to the likes of Ólafur Arnalds and Library Tapes. His most recent album is called Felt for a reason: he put felt in his piano to mute the tones because he didn’t want to disturb his neighbors. Coincidentally, he really liked this sound. Every show of Frahm is a unique experience, because his playing is mostly based on improvisation.
