Tanapon Chiwinpiti (1992) a Thai musician, pianist and composer, was born in Suphanburi, Thailand. Chiwinpiti graduated in high school from Kannasootsuksalai High School in Suphanburi. He studied piano under Nithi Kornkaewsakuldej(Personal), Jamkad Sand-njamwong(Yamaha School), Pornchanan Suravichai(Mahidol) and contemporary piano playing with Satoko Inoue(Kunitachi College of Music). He studied Music Composition at College of Music, Mahidol University with Roger W. Petersen, James J. Ogburn, and computer music with Shintaro Imai (Kunitachi College of Music) also studies electronic music and incidental dance music with Dirk P. Haubrich, Electro-acoustic composition with Judy Lake Bozone and James J. Ogburn, silent film piano accompaniment with Mie Yanashita. Chiwinpiti had been attended specially composition seminar with Mara Gibson, Norbert Palej, Martin Jaggi and Chong Kee Yong. Presently, He is studying at Sonology Department, Kunitachi College of Music as an exchange student for a year.
-Received a commission from the American violist Michael Hall to premiere a composition at Thailand International Composition Festivals 2012
-General prize from Young Thai Artist Award - Music Composition "Les Trois Modules Sont Reflétés Par La Toile Noire..." (2013)
-One of the 10 Finalists of Young Composers in Southeast Asia Competition & Festival (2013) collaborated with Ensemble Mosaik under a conductor and composer, Enno Poppe.
-Grand prize from the 1st Annual Mahidol University, College of Music Composition Prize for String Quartet "Streichquartett Nr.1" (2014)
-Exchange program student to go to study at Kunitachi College of Music in Tokyo, Japan (April 2014 - February 2015)
Had been participated a workshop by several composers, Zygmunt Krauze, David Rosenboom, Shintaro Imai, Chong Kee Yong etc.
