"ILLUSTRATED" is a project that was born in February 2012 driven by 27 year old producer, Sean Layton. Since then he has received the attention of various labels, music production software companies, promoters, and blogs. After hearing ILL's unique EDM style, Founder/CEO, Jason Donnolley, of Solar Sound Records and Peace Love Productions, offered to release "ILLUSTRATED's" debut EP, "Mental Drug" through his label on April 24th via Itunes, and Beat Port.

The lead single "Subtle Hints" grabbed the attention of major music production software company "Image Line" (FL Studio) who teamed up with "Peace Love Productions"
to host a world wide remix contest for the single. The winner received a brand new copy of FL Studio, an exclusive release on Beat Port for the remix, and access to Peace Love Productions site to download over 30,000 loops and samples for an entire year. This track was also recently placed on the CW channel in a commercial for the new Tv Series, "Beauty And The Beast".

In just one year "ILLUSTRATED" has gained over 40,000 followers on Twitter, 4,500 fans on Facebook, all due to word of mouth and Sean's dedicated work ethic.
