ILL_K, based out of Berlin, debuts on Paradise Lost with a pack of heavy hitters that will place him firmly on the map as one of bass music’s most intriguing up-and-comers - the "Warrior EP".

This 4-tracker runs on a dark, futuristic, tribal feel, starting with the title track "Warrior", a foreboding, ferocious industrial stepper, built on a huge wall of subs and constructed for the heaviest of soundsystems. This beat will wreak havoc to any dance, crowd satisfaction guaranteed! "Sleeping Giant" reinterprets the Dungeon sound of late and lends it some truly unique and characteristic ILL_K flair, blending heavy subs and mutant midrange stabs with glitchy fx and a plodding, skanked-out half-step drum foundation. "Time Machine" ups the glitch level another notch, showcasing this young artist's ability to climb the beanstalk and enter a world where others dare not venture: a land full of experimental sound programming and unusual percussive techniques. The EP finishes off with "Lighter", a dub-heavy 4X4 workout sure to satisfy smokers and skankers of all ages - lighters up!

ILL_K has an underscore, not a dash, and his tracks don’t serve just a dash of power, but instead underscore his ability to creatively kill the floor with forward-thinking, precision-striking finesse and sheer brutal power. Get on this if you think you’re ready...
