Hailing from the infamous streets of Atlanta, Val Allen Wood has made his mark in the bass music out world. Dropping songs that will "literally" make you throw metal horns up in the air! Having started his career as a producer in early January 2012, his metal influenced sounds attacked the scene's attention fairly quick. With one year down, 2013 is looking extra fresh for this musical veteran in sights of brand new material hitting Beatport!

Fairly new to the electronic game, yet very seasoned in the music industry. Val Allen Wood (V-Dub) has been making and playing music since the age of thirteen. Playing in metal bands his whole life, he is more so known worldwide as the lead guitarist for the melodic speed metal group Theocracy (Ulterium Records). With multiple European tours and hundreds of shows overall under his belt, V-Dub is a well-seasoned and established musician. Over the past year, he has found a new love for bass music, which evolved into his writing style and led to dropping his original tunes all over Atlanta.

What separates him from most other acts is the sound of metal chugging at your ears and production songs that sound almost like real guitar riffs. With the sound that reflects his metal roots, he falls under the genre of DeathStep. ArtEfekt has residency with Sweet Tooth Entertainment!

ArtEfekt has shared the stage with such national acts as Mantis, Getter, Gambit (Devour), Matty G, Captain Panic!, Hulk, Protohype, KJ Sawka, Tank Man, Devin Martin, Darth & Vader, Andy's iLL and J. Rabbit!
