Bedrock artist Ian O’Donovan debut’s on Vince Watson’s Bio label with an EP full of emotion and musical passion.
Ian’s music has been appearing in the playlists of Laurent Garnier, John Digweed, Dave Clarke and Hernan Cattaneo for a long time, and he has steadily built up his discography over the years featuring on Eevonext, Virgin, Wolfskuill and of course Digweed’s Bedrock imprint. His recent ‘The Island’ EP with artist Breccia was a massive hit and has been smashing dancefloors since its arrival late last year.
As good timing would have it in this cloud based world, Ian kicks off this cloud EP with ‘Trophosphere’, a sensual take on modern electronic music, with everything you would want from a great track. Its got the groove, the bass and the melodies to grab you, while keeping things chilled enough to fit into playlists across many genres.
Following this up is the more upfront ‘Aquarian’, with its big room club beats and bassline, a key signature of Vince’s Bio label over the years. Its hot..
Lastly but not least, label owner Watson rounds things off with an edit of the title track. Originally planned to be a remix, Vince decided that the key parts of the track should remain and the track remain mostly intact, adding a few VW touches here and there..
Expect to hear this on dancefloor and radio imminently.
