Si.Smith (SiFi) demonstrates his flair and passion for mixing and production as a resident at Snafu (clubsnafu.com), A club recently voted once again in the top 100 Clubs in the World (DJ Mag).
Through his monthly mixes and production work we see what he sees and feel what he feels as he takes us on his own personal musical journey. Weaving together fresh underground house with deep dark undertones, and future leaning tech from Europe and beyond, there's a raw and emotional vibe which shines through. The rhythms are often complex which push you forward as you are reminded of the long afterparty sessions where the music keeps flowing and the legs keep going.
Influenced by labels such as Desolat, Cecille, Fuse and Cadenza you can hear the subtle tones of South America and Central, Eastern Europe as they filter through.
Debut EP release "The Vibe" on Halfmoon was very well received and broke into the Beatport Top 100 with support from amazing artists such as Claude Von Stroke (DirtyBird), James Zabiela (Rennaissance),Yaya (Desolat) and Paco Osuna (Plus 8) to name a very small few. This was followed up with a remix for MomoProject - La Lluvia which broke into the top ten for releases on Halfmoon.
