Scott Ciccone is a composer, arranger and producer specializing in the creation of music for television, radio, video games and films. He has produced music for a wide range of clients, whose genres have included current affairs, factual, drama and sci-fi.
A solo artist, he was born to write music. If one listens closely to his tracks, one can almost feel him playing desperately with his synths in the dark at 4 a.m., awoken if he ever slept at all, to bring the whimsical stirrings of his head to life.
He is a mix of Welsh and Italian, raised in Swansea in a family of three children, none of them musicians, the sacrifices of the artistic life were clear but tortuously compelling all the same. Ciccone first asked to play the piano at 6, and has since learned to play everything from bass to computer-based Pro-Tools.
He hit the ground running in 2006 when his first piece of music aired for TV on the UK's most popular news channel, BBC News 24, and hasn't looked back since.
