My ID card says that I’m Jordi Rovira (Barcelona, 1972) but Maiki is my alias from the school days… I’m living between Barcelona and Donostia and recording my music at home, playing most of the instruments myself. I’ve recorded some albums and a bunch of remixes in several projects such as Maiki (my electronic-egotist-anarchic side), Hutts (my first band of crepuscular-music), Niu (my last band of electro-songs) and a dozen more alias (Melopea, Cage, Longhetti, Karamazovs, El coleccionista, Hellboy, Rolex…). Oh! and I’m the Secta Records founder.
