Biography:

Aged 30 from south of the UK. Dj of 16 years. Rob loves so much eclectic music although he plays and produces deep & funky underground house music, priding himself upon programming inspiring "funk filled" journeys during live dj sets and mixes alike. Djing since 1996, after a short time he moved out of the bedroom and started to promote and play at drum & bass parties in and around the south, having played alongside djs such as Andy C and Bad Company. Around 1999, after working for a few years in the local independent record shop in his hometown of Eastbourne, he made the transition to house music, thanks to a few friends and colleagues who were already hooked. Since then he has never looked back and has continued to play frequently at bars & parties in the south of the UK. He stumbled upon the underground house sound after playing Decfeted/Subliminal style disco house in the early noughties, over time he gained an extensive vinyl collection of Miguel Migs, Kerri Chandler, Inland Knights & Joey Youngman, Freerange/NRK style tracks. This sound completely took over for him. Now after a decade playing house music, Rob has played at many venues including Ministry of Sound, Herbal, Gramaphone, Inigo, Atomics, The Whitehouse, Mud Club, The Ocean Rooms, Funktion Rooms, Sub Club and has performed alongside the likes of Dj Sneak, Bobby&Steve, Soul Avengerz, Jason Hodges, Dj Mes, Inland Knights, Lawnchair Generals, Kinky Movement, Short Bus Kids and many others. Rob currently hosts the bi-weekly Beats Me Music Radio Show on net radio station/community http://www.deepvibes.co.uk/ (2nd & 4th Tuesday each month 10-12pm GMT)
