‘Home On Ice’ has its roots in the danish cities Svendborg and Copenhagen and was formed in the early autumn of 2010 in the city of Copenhagen.
However, prior to its current constellation the band has its origin as an acoustic duo when Jens and Jens Adam first decided upon playing together. Shortly after recognising a longing for a larger comprehensive soundscape they teamed up with Marius and Tobias, establishing the band's current form as a quartet.
Because of their very different backgrounds their music is derived through sporadic sources of inspirations varying from indie, pop and northern folk to tribal drums and minimalistic classical music.
