From Burgundy (France), Hollowave was created in november 2006 when Jean-Michel joined his close relations to work on a common musical project.

Jean-Michel enlisted Fabrice first. Fabrice is an autodidact singer who’s got a deep knowledge in classical music and especially opera.

Later, Jean-Michel thought about Alain, a writer and a painter. Alain always wanted to be in a band as a composer. A few years before, he had already worked along with Jean-Michel on another musical project. Alain brings a pop-rock touch to Hollowave with his songs inspired by english indie pop music. He came to electronic music after he experienced singing in another music band.

Finally, Miloud joined the band. As Jean-Michel, he’s been composing electronic music for nine years already. Jean-Michel and Miloud were distinguished in several music contests as respectively known as Jean miX.L. and Loud High.

In addition to music, the members of the band master several art and graphic domains as photography, illustration, graphic design, video, webdesign, plastic art, writing… Thus, they can use these skills to make a comprehensive artistic work. Indeed, they made their website and their first videoclip Notebook 91 themselves.

Since the beginning, twenty tracks have been produced. Four of those tracks are available for streaming on www.hollowave.net with the purpose to prospect labels. Thus, they do hope to publish their first EP or LP.
