Hippy Jose started to love music at a very young age and was above all influenced by rock, hip hop and soul. Many artists and music styles have inspired him, but he's developed a particular passion for electronic music. Since that time he's had the burning desire to get behind the decks. That wish came true in 2010, and he hasn't stopped working on his musical development ever since. He describes his music selection as a mix of good old dance and house music and the new sounds of the 21st century.

His infatuation with electronic music started in his early teens, when his brother introduced him to well known artists such as Daft Punk, Basement Jaxx, Aphex Twin, The Prodigy and The Chemical Brothers to name a few. He has always been a collector of things unique and that shows greatly when it comes to his music selection. As a music fanatic he understands everyone has different tastes in music and with new edm sub genre's emerging practically over night, he tries to jam a little bit of everything in his sets to keep everyone on their toes.

Hippy Jose's high energy sets are a result of him spending countless hours searching for the latest and greatest, genre-bending sounds he can get his hands on. His rapid style of mixing in and out of songs and blending genre's without missing a beat leaves the crowd wondering which direction he will take them next.
