From the age of 14, Rob has been a Hard Dance DJ, playing out many tracks from his influences BK, Guyver, Ingo, Stimulant DJ's and many more. In 2002, he left school to go to college studying sound engineering with intentions to work within the music industry. This was followed by another two years studying Music Technology which he successfully achieved a BTEC National Diploma at the highest grade. Rob then went onto studying Multimedia Technology and Music Production at the University of Derby.
Since completing his studies. Rob has been concentrating on hard dance production. He has had tracks signed to many record labels such as Flashpoint, Toolbox, Fireball, Stereodays, Pure NRG as well as releasing material on his own record labels Indicate & Staar Recordings. His productions have been getting support from some of the biggest DJs in the scene including: Kutski (Radio One Air Play), Lisa Lashes, Proteus, Andy Farley, Ben Stevens, JP & Jukesy, Lucy Fur and more.
In 2008, Rob formed a DJ collaboration with Kyle Hackitt AKA Kynetik. Hilz'E n Kynetik played at some of the U.K's biggest nights including: B2T, Xstatic, Sanxion and Blessed to name a few. The duo found them on the same line ups as many top DJ's such as Paul Glazby, Andy Whitby, Ilogik, Mark EG and many more.
Recently, Rob has had numerous Hard House/NRG and Hard Trance tracks featured and charted on trackitdown.net. He has also had many tracks reviewed in the Mixmag magazine. All stating that he has a "Bright future ahead of him".
At present, Rob spends majority of his time in the Indicate studio working on new material for either Indicate or Staar Recordings. He also has opened up the studio for hire - working with respected producers such as P.A.S, Lusty, Sumbo AKA Chris Summers, Kauz, Steve Maynard, The Tom, Matt Morris to name a few.
