Music is … a positive education and a humbling experience

Hilgard remains a music enthusiast whose diverse taste and eagerness to preach the gospel of House is reflected in over two decades of experience.

He remembers the Industrial Gothic Rock of his formative years, but a trip up The Playground’s staircase to Deviate changed the course of his musical passion forever. There he witnessed the foundation of House being laid. This was an opportunity to link up with like-minded people who wished to push the boundaries of dance culture globally.

It is the union of all eclectic elements fused together in dance music that he finds most appealing, and this provided him with the opportunity to be honoured as a guest selector on the “The Good Times” show presented by Dino Moran & Craig De Sousa.

‘And there is just so much to share in dance music.’ It is an attitude that has seen him continue to set trends beyond the party, working as media liason with international labels like Soulgasm Music NYC, Daddy Funk Records UK, Universe Media/DCS Trax UK & Stalwart Records France and artists such as Sandy Spady NYC, LadyBird FR, Paris Cesvette UK – for Hilgard ‘the party has only just begun.’
