HAHAHA this is great but Mixmeister and Ableton Live are even easier. Even Serato is easier haha. But I love the concept. Unfortunately technology has ruined a lot of skill involved with music in EVERY category. Not just Djing. Its scary to think what it will be like in 30 years.

Common hate to Virtual DJ performers by regular hard-working DJs.

Absolutely love this track, went to ask my friend if he heard it and he said he sticks to more charty stuff as it fits it better with his virtual DJ.. no joke. I dont think this song would be for him. Would also love to say that my favourite line by far is "do you know why I rip stuff from youtube?" "because your an idiot??!" "no." epic lmao!

      LMFAO! Too fuckin' funny!

I do wonder whether most of the moaning is grumpy-old-man stuff - reminds me of oldies bemoaning kids today for phones and wobbly musics that's just noise.... I mean, how many of today's generation are really gonna give a shit about vinyl? Hell, I loved mixing with vinyl, but most records today sound like crap due to corners cut in production - that's why I stopped buying that shit! Got burnt too many times by poor quality. For a while I burnt all my high-quality files to CD and mixed on CD decks, but it was long-winded and I wondered what the fuck I was doing it for. Just gave in and went 100% digital. Not that I can't mix any other way (spent enough years practising!), but while being good at beat-matching was totally essential when mixing vinyl, what’s the point of artificially adding extra difficulty? I mean, if you’re gonna do that, why use turntables with a pitch-slider – why not manually push/brake the record to the correct speed and hold it there? It would take supreme skill…

My view was only reinforced by later experiences, namely watching people who’ve never Dj’d before trying to with digital software. Funny things is, if you're shit the sync button don’t help. If you can’t get two tunes on the right beat/bar it don’t matter if they’re precisely the same BPM. And (as this track illustrates) if you can’t tell the difference between a high-quality MP3/WAV and Youtube, you’re destined to be crap. Bottom line is; I would rather listen to someone who didn’t manually adjust the BPM, but mixed awesome music perfectly in every other way, than someone who was amazing at manually beat-matching vinyl/CDs but played rubbish tunes that dropped all cock-eyed… and I suspect that in a decade of two this is how everyone will think, except them moaning ol’ fogies going on about how it was better in their day….

Still, awesome fuckin' tune! Now to go rip it from Youtube....
