About
The Hard Groove Machine was born in the late 90's from the meeting of two crazy guys in the basement named "the Bunker". Those two guys were Daniele Cursi: Scratch/Cutting DJ, producer and resindent at Fiesta Loca music venue in Rome; and Attilio Hollige: music writer, pianist and singer. They started a non conventional production spacing over all music genres, blending the latest digital techniques with a basically analog minded set. Although they formed the core of this machine, they also cooperated with talented guitarist Alberto Dilanuvio, sound engineer Silvano Gammarota and one of the most important music writers and talented artists in Italy, the top organist: master Toto Torquati.
Also remarkable is the partnership with SpazioTek for the organization of gigs and events in the south Rome area. HGM's style is something indefinable made of two pinches of Techno, a touch of House and a nip of unpredictability given by the total aversion to follow the rules and the trends; all seasoned with a wide music culture since the fifties until now.
