Hermiteer is short for "Hermiteer Publishing", the small label I run that releases original music for dance floors, film soundtracks and your ears as well as manages the production of iOS applications.

I started playing piano at a young age, switched to guitar after a broken arm and had a band for a few years called "think13". You can still find the EPs on iTunes. I left the band to start pursuing a solo project and eventually found my into DJing, being close to the San Francisco party scene and all.

As my DJ alter-ego "Rumblemunk", I've recently began producing my own tracks. You can find remixes and originals in the "Rumblemunk" set. My current release is "Starting Over" on Teknical Funk Records. It has lots of bangin' remixes by TekFreaks, Rook, Rhythm Fiend and my other project: "Zero Kontrol". I'm also part of the FiX crew (http://fixsf.com) that has a every-3rd-Friday monthly in San Francisco, as well as an every-2nd-Wednesday broadcast on http://NSBRadio.co.uk.

My DJ alter-ego also produces music under the duo "Zero Kontrol". My partner in crime, which many of you know, is DJ Smoove, a well-known DJ and long time member of the San Francisco dance scene. You can find our music in the "Zero Kontrol" set.

When I'm not DJing or producing electronic/rock music, I'm scoring independent films and videos. You can find samples of these works in the "Soundtracks" set. These are all done under my composer name "Christoph".

Lastly, I've also released an iPhone app called "To Be Sorted" to help me (and you) find that perfect song to play.
