CHRISTMAS WILL NOT BE THE SAME

    The snow is falling again
    She’s watching winter commence
    November came to an end
    And so did her defense

She built a wall that would shield
from all that she refused to feel
She thought she could make herself heal
    Guess Christmas made it real

    And snow keeps falling down

She doesn’t remember a winter this cold
where is the warmth from the hand she used to hold
Singing Silent Night, all is calm and bright
There’s not a worry in sight
Where is the joy as they walked round the tree
now there is none, she just can’t stand to see
On her door-plate, there is one less name
Christmas will not be the same

It was so different last year
A time when all she would fear
was not getting ready in time
    before the bells would chime

    And snow keeps falling down

She doesn’t remember a winter this cold
where is the warmth from the hand she used to hold
Singing silent night, all is calm and bright
There’s not a worry in sight
Where is the joy when they walked round the tree
now there is none, she just can’t stand to see
On her door-plate, there is one less name
Christmas will not be the same

So the world will go on, though it feels like time stands still.
‘cause in others joy, she gets through this Christmas with pure will.
    Don’t know how she will.

    Still snow keeps falling down

She doesn’t remember a winter this cold
where is the warmth from the hand she used to hold?
Singing silent night, all is calm and bright
There’s not a worry in sight
Where is the joy when they walked round the tree
now there is none, she just can’t stand to see
On her door-plate, there is one less name
Christmas will not be the same
