The first track doesn't exactly belong in this mix however it just recently landed on my desk and as someone down for spreading the legacy of Jay Dee (and MJ for that matter) I had to throw it in, a brooding take on a classic. The next 3 tracks straight after that are monsters, some of my absolute favourites - disco but somehow not strictly disco. A lot of disco/house lovers will already be aware of the gospel genius of Celestial Choir - Stand On the Word, but for the handful of those who haven't heard it I put that in for you! What a ride if you are hearing that for the first time.

We venture onto the disco rollercoaster for a while before it gets dark all of a sudden and things start to get a bit heavier. If you're still grooving along to Osunlade's Yoruba Soul polemic at the end then thank you for listening, much respect.
