Nice lead. :)
Nice guitar work. :)
@hamsteralliance: in the PeerChord stuff I dunno, I just leave it at 32 or change it depending on how in-time I want it to sound. I'm not picky about it.
@zaphoid1: haha, I have instantaneous email notification on. :D Depending on the speed of the song I put in a hex value of 10, sometimes up to 20, but usually 10ish.
@zaphoid1: Thanks. :) I like 8 TPB. With PVSTi global command values 07 and 08 are for humanization. :) If I'm not using PVSTi and need something to sound natural I make a humanization pattern that just cycles through values, or use a peerLFO or PeerChord.
Ahhh! The wolf spiders are in my hair! D:
I like the improv lead happening here.
Nice one. :D
@rotkin te: This particular track is pretty much all Native Instruments VSTs. I picked up the Komplete 5 recently and have been really into it. and now Komplete 6 is coming out...FUUUUUU.
Some of your tracks remind me of the stuff by Mark Warren and Scott Baker. They released tracks mainly as Safe/Mode and Underscore. I think a few of their releases are freebies.
Nice beat. Great mixture with the break and distorted drums.
The strings in this section are awesome! :D
Sounds a bit like there's too much limiting going on and the bass is drowning out the drums some. I think for this particular track, keeping the drums crispy and upfront is important, so you might wanna try getting the bass under control so it doesn't impede on your drums.
I have an obsession with hoover-style synths. It's one of my favorite sounds. :P
I think a high pitch sound like a voice going, "ooooh" or a soft synth sound playing some sort of rising melody would fit well around here. I think this area could be expanded on more before switching to the second half of the song. :)
I like how this builds up, it sounds great! :D
Cool stuff! I like that shaker in there. The organ and vocal sounds are cool too. I have an organ in my latest track too. :D
@Dynamic Interplay: Yeah, NSKIT 6 was the last free version. I still have it. It's nowhere near as good as 7 though, which comes on several DVDs. It's called Natrual Drum Kit now as it's been bought by another company.
Reminds me a bit of that old AFX track, Donkey Rhubarb. :)
LOUD NOISES!!!!
Nice usage of the breaks and vocal chops in there. It all fits together quite nicely. :)
This needs a rapper over it. haha. ;D
Sounds good. Are you going to put up the live version some time?
@Shades of Grey: Thanks. :) It's a distorted guitar sample through the following effects: pitch shifter +12 semitones -> heavy chorusing effect -> Guitar cabinet effect (Voxengo Boogex) with the input filter pinched to a very small range and the peaks set very high, to make it ringy sounding and then overdriven 100% -> chorus effect to make it stereo again -> delay to make the notes flow together -> limiter.
Cool beans, sir. :D
@Sheldon James: NaturalStudio NSKIT 7 (has been renamed to Natural Drum Kit) loaded into Kontakt 3, loaded into Buzz. The drums are process with a Voxengo Varisaturator to make them all pimp and big.
@Sheldon James: sure. Go for it. :)
@Sheldon James: Phage means to eat. :)
I used Kazuya GB Sound in Buzz. It's pretty awesome. :)
cool mix, man! :D
I think you're the first person to use the Repeating Cannon piano loop. Good stuff.
Epic win! :D
Woo! I have this song in my collection already. I think it's one of your best tracks, next to Triangle, Ego and Protocol. Mp3s don't come with this cool little notes though. Thanks for the background info! :D
Ooh, you've got it on your site. Downloaded! :D
omg, no download. :O *cries*
This is really good stuff, sir! I used to listen to a lot of music like this when I first started getting in to tracker music. :)
With this kind of badassery in you, where's your music download site? I want moar! Thanks for sending these my way - I are download them nao for great justice.
@GLaDOS: Yes! C&C: Red Alert.
