Halo Refuser is the futuristic musical alter-ego of prolific pianist/keyboardist/producer Asher Fulero (an anagram, re-arrange the letters to see). In this exotic sonic landscape, creatively futuristic beat design and otherworldly textures combine with huge wobbly bass lines and captivating live keyboards. It is a musical experience, equal parts sonic-journey and body-moving; drawing on the classics of cinematic dance music while balancing state-of-the-art musical interaction.

Endorsed as both a Moog Artist and a Nord Artist, Fulero uses a laundry-list of modern hardware and software production techniques to create his studio tracks which all eventually become manipulation fodder, re-warped from within Ableton Live (his main software for 10 years). The result falls somewhere between Dub, Glitch, Trip-hop, Drum-n-Bass, Downtempo, Dubstep, Whomp, and IDM, often mixed together with remixes of his own tracks by others; maintaining a 'voice' without falling into the obvious style-traps and never living too long in one place. While his album releases have been instrumental he augments his live show with effected vocals, live keyboards, and melodica as well as techy wireless controller antics, live dancers, and performance-enhancing props like the L'Ha! Laser Harp.
