i like the spacey synths! Dunno about the beat, but that's just taste i guess, i'd go for a little different samples, maybe with a bit more depth and reverb. Good track!

Cool, I haven't heard this one! Fitting title, the tone is very dark in this. I really like the mood it portrays. Production is great and was a pleasure to listen to.

The production is just so clear not only in quality but in its direction. More like this please.

By the way, You should check out Let It Go (Phobium Remix) it amazed me every time. Very minimal, no percussion, but still has this great flow.

Hey fellow July WATMM winner! I love this. I make electro house but love ambient/space/chilltronica. The movement of pads in songs like these and reverbs always blow me away. This is amazing I need to experiment making stuff like this

@Tyler Brooks 1: I'm actually using guitar samples from free-sound and processing them: multitracking, bit-crushing, reversing, etc. Don't own a guitar myself. Cheers for listening bud.

I love those higher frequency sounds that come in. I think this is my favorite of your tracks. Are you producing any of these sounds with an actual guitar? Because guitar sounds seem to be recurring throughout your music. Either way good work man.

I like the clap here, (perhaps a little more of reverb tail will help it blend into the soundscape a little more, so it sounds a little gentler). But that's only a minute little criticism. Otherwise, this is very pleasant and easy on the ear. Thanks for contributing to Ambient Journeys

@CleverProfilePicture: Criticise away, we're not here to circlejerk ;). I added the clap because I feel it adds some space to the piece [and snares tended to be a bit hollow] but I'll certainly take this into account next time I dive into the project files. Knowing me, you're probably right and this is just stubborn idiosyncrasy on my part, so I'll be sure to remember this. Thanks for the honesty.

First off this is really good, I want to get that out of the way before it sounds like I don't like everything else you have done.
But I feel like the clap kills the immersion, especially when it first comes in. It is fairly out of place, and when I heard it, I thought my sequencer was glitching out, until I noticed it was in time.
As a whole, I don't think a snare really is necessary in this piece, but it can be done, and if so, I don't think the clap really is the correct choice.
But that is really just a nitpick I have, otherwise, quality stuff my soundcloud redditing brother. - Halcyon (Ambient)

@The Liquids: That's amazing praise, thanks! I've been going through some of your blog posts, that's a sick steampuck mod sequencer.

liking that bass guitar with slight distorted harmonics weaving in and out. Great stuff!

very contemplative this piece. I don't usually like beats in ambient music but this somehow seems to fit it well. Gives it a sort of downtempo pulse. The lack of hi hats weather intentional or not is really suitable as it brings more attention to the awesome sounds you got going here.
