"Ordinary Day" written and performed by Greg Whitehead with help from Jeffrey Whitehead on guitar.

This is my most straight-forward power pop track. Two of my biggest influences are Queen and Jellyfish, which should be fairly obvious listening to this track. Especially with the harmonies and the Brian May-esque guitar. I was also inspired by Blur and Ben Folds who often write little stories about weird people and their quirks. This one is about a guy who decides his HDTV is a good substitute for real life. There's almost no synthesizer on this track except for the vocoder and some string flourishes from my Korg R3. The bass and drums are also from midi sources and the piano is digital. But the guitar is real.
