Gunda G's roots run deep, at the dawn of the 80s he was collecting records and by the last year of the decade he had begun his immersion in the club scene.
He quickly graduated to the role of DJ as well, was instantly captivated by the emerging jungle sound and along the way also added promoter to his resume.
A lifelong love of bassline/breakbeat music had begun.

In addition to promoting small clubs and parties, pre-millennium he was dropping jungle/dnb as Dwell.
2000 revealed his next move to him - he wanted to play his own sounds. He began learning the ropes of production,
meanwhile behind the decks his style morphed into a much more expansive exploration of the sounds he loved…
reggae, dancehall, breakbeat, dubstep, hip hop, dnb, electro, jazz, fused by deep bass and dope beats.
He also diversified the audiences he played to, including arts festival crowds, gallery openings and exhibitions alongside occasional nightclub party crowds,
all the while honing his production skills.

2007 he was introduced to the dubstep sounds, and began building an ever increasing arsenal of dubstep and breakbeat tunes as Gunda G.
Since then Gunda has kept busy playing at parties by Inbound Crew, Redline Dubstars, Rumour, Bass Club, Pleasure Crew, Lightmare, The Oaktree Foundation (East Timor Benefit)
and in venues such as Cargo, Crown & Sceptre, HQ, L!ve on Light, FAD Cafe, Bull & Bear, The Austral, Higher Ground & supporting: Starkey(US), Kryptic Minds(UK), Ulterior Motive(UK),Icicle(UK), OneMan(UK) Spectrasoul(UK), Klute(UK), Noah D (US), Trolley Snatcha(UK), Dr P(UK),Girl Unit(UK),
Kito, Richie Spice(JAM), Paul Fraser, SPL, RSD(UK),
Will Styles, MCDJ RIBBZ(UK), Ellis Dee(UK), MC Fearless(UK), Tomba(ISR), & ANT TC1 (UK)

In 2010 his first solo EP was released digitally on One For All Records (Just a Look/Feeling You) after 3 prior releases on compilations for One For All Records and Ground Zero Projects

Gunda has been busy in the studio working on material for an album to be released sometime this year...
