Hailing from the cold American Midwest, Guise settled into California in late the 90’s and began using field recordings, samplers, hardware and software to explore a hybrid of industrial & techno. Under previous aliases, he has performed and released music through respected labels, gaining international respect among the underground electronic music scene. With this new project as Guise, the raw aesthetic of experimentation continues to come through in his sound. It is a fresh perspective in modern dark energy.
