As one half of Punky Blaster, Guillaume Delarge has been dominating dance floors and charts all summer of 2012. Released on Toolroom Records, the duo’s latest banger Missin’ became an instant classic when it hit the #1 spot on DMC’s Buzz Chart a week before its release date. The track received a big support from Axwell and Hed Kandi among others.
Hailing from Lille in the North of France, Delarge started laying the foundation of what would become a very successful musical career at the age 8, when he enrolled in the Music Conservatory – an education that was followed up by nine years of Music theory and classical Guitar.
Delarge would benefit from his classical schooling when he commenced his producer career as a teenager; crafting Pop and R&B tracks that created an immediate buzz in France with his solid melody lines and astonishing technical innovativeness.
This talent for catchy compositions and technical virtuosity is what Delarge brought with him to the Electro/House duo a couple of years later. Their first single “Stoop” received massive support from world famous DJ:s like A-Trak and they followed up the success with vintage flavored House banger “Missin’” the last summer.
