With a life long love for electronic dance music, Ché van Workum aka Guevara discovered computer music production at the age of 15, and started DJ-ing three years later. Modestly crafting his skills for years and years, developing a fine taste, a diverse choice and great control within House and Techno music.
Encouraged after discovering Ableton Live in 2006, in what he found his ultimate tool for creating and playing music, he devoted himself full-time to his passion as a DJ/Producer. Starting by hosting parties in the local (underground) scene, this soon led to the start of his own company Soundkings a year later, where nowadays all his music related work is hosted at. Nowadays Guevara also is a Certified Ableton Trainer, being the completion of his devotion for this software.
With a small group of friends and colleagues, Guevara starts the SKUG concept a year later, as a platform for house and techno related events, artists and music, nowadays hosting parties all over the Netherlands.
In 2009, Guevara launches his new live-act together with friend/colleague Paul Gasille, named Klankarbeit. Combining their big amount of tracks and beats build over the years, presenting pounding dance floor tracks with catchy beats and sounds, building very potential house and techno music. With their tracks already appearing on labels as Manual Music and Underphunk, and scheduled releases on Michel de Hey’s EC/Hey Records and Mauro Picotto’s Alchemy, you can say this live act definitely hits the spot!
Over the years Guevara and live act Klankarbeit performed at clubs, parties and festivals like Off_Corso, Poema, Catwalk, Perron, Pakhuis, Solar Festival, Music Republic and released tracks on labels as Manual Music, Underphunk Digital and Big Mamas House.

Apart, diep en duister mixje. Lekkere plaatjes, eens wat anders. :) Maar al skippend door de mix heen vind ik niet alle mixes even strak voor een traktor? set....
