GRUMPTRUCK was started in 2004 as an experiment in hip hop based music. This is my interpretation of the genre, coming from a wide range of musical influences.
My most recent material comes in the form of beat sketches and works-in-progress. I don't consider anything a finished piece until it's released officially or someone uses it on their record (MC, DJ, etc). They can be made to go at any length, any amount of repeats, changes, etc., depending on who I am working with.
The older material is here for consumption, remixing, mash-ups and also for MCs and lyricists who bring something unique to the hip hop table. Some of it I plan to remake into something fresher.
