@Soundtrack-Audio: had the same problem, but after automating the pitchbend in the piano roll it works fine! got logic.

I appreciate this comment is about a month late ... but I'm running an iMac with OS X 10.4.11 / 2.5 Gig RAM with Logic 8 & Omnisphere is generally ok but does occasionally crash the system on some of the more complex, multi layered sounds when I'm using the pitch bend wheel to excess. However I developed an increasingly regular general crashing problem and was advised to upload a free program called Onyx (Google it) ... and it's worked wonders. I've had no crashes since. Apparently it cleans up your system and makes it run efficiently. Might be worth a try if you still have the problem.

Hi I don't use Ableton on the Mac, but have not had any trouble in Logic 8 or must be one of my most stable plugins. I do however run low on memory on my mac (6 gig ram) after loading lots of a few projects and large patches in omnisphere...maybe you should check the Ableton forums for a solution, and update your audio interface drivers. Also are you running on Leopard or Snow Leopard?

I'm pretty new to Omnisphere. I like its synth-possibilities quite a bit! But Omnisphere keeps crashing in Ableton Live 8 (Mac OS X) on certain patches! In Logic Studio 9 in works fine.
Do you have the same problem? How do you work around it?
