I have no problem with this "sudden change "i think it s well timed and brought in good enough.. But what you could do is.. break, build up with only drums and fade in the bass smoothly play around with this it probably works well
- The Observer on August 26, 2009 08:21
It could work man Maybe try it !!

cool lift here
-
I think I like the one after the break a little better than this one ... this one seems too sudden, any ideas on how I might be able to introduce the section a little better?
- The Observer on August 26, 2009 08:11
@NTNY: I ll have an other listen which isnt a punishment at all heheh

Opening song from the Thought in Movement LP. I wanted to use these lush pulsing pads and an orchestral string combination. I also had some nice percussion worked out and decided to use some drum patterns that strayed away from a "breaky" feel. There is a Moog stinger type line that creeps in and out of the mix to keep the track pushing along as well as some white noise washes I was running in and out over the main drum track. There is a touch of middle eastern futurism that drops in at the end. This track sets the tone for the rest of the LP. I also thought this was a great way to start a yoga class, as the LP flows conceptually from the beginning to the end of a Vinyasa style yoga class (approx 75min), with corpse rest at the end.
