Groove Federation started back in 2006 a Deep House collaboration between Daz Payton and Nath Walwyn.
Both members of Groove Federation have been dj'ing for many years and are a part of the Woodfunk Festival/Free Party scene.

In 2011 Nath decided that he wanted to follow a different line of music production focusing on the deeper sound of house, while Daz decided to keep the Groove Federation alias going along with his other 2 artist monikers, Fungus and the Fusion & Permagurn. Daz also writes sample packs for Loopmasters and designs presets for Synths and VST plugins.
