Grits n Gravy is the brainchild one of Perth's favourites, Philly Blunt and UK breaks guru D-Funk.
Together these 2 cats have released music on the likes of Goodgroove Records, Manmade Records, Roca Records, Booty Pirates, Westway Records, Destination? Records, Warriorz, Sunday Best Records & of course D-Funk's own label, Upstart Music. They put their (limited) brain power together & came up with a master plan to help spread the love of the more funk end of the music they & their chums/chumps make & love.... and so Grits n Gravy is born.

Starting things off with a massive double a-side from the label bosses – D-Funks 'The Boss' and Philly Blunts 'The Jam' are already setting dancefloors alight worldwide and with a string of solid releases from Australian and international artists in the works, this is one label to look out for.
