Greymouth is a five piece folk/indie band from Helsinki, Finland. The music is about beautiful melodies, interesting world of sound and intensive vibes.
Greymouth was founded in the summer of 2011 as Elisa Husu, the lead singer and the songwriter of the band, gathered together a group of musicians to express her musical vision through a bigger line-up.

"Huhhahhei! Nyt täytyy heti alkuun todeta, että hetkeen mikään bändi ei ole löynyt minua yhtä sanattomaksi kuin Greymouth tällä kertaa. Kun Greymouthin ensimmäinen sinkku saapui loppuunsa, istua tönötin hetken hiljaa hämmentyneenä. Toivuttuani shokista pistin kappaleen soimaan uudelleen ja aloin keräilemään sekalaisia ajatuksiani, joita kuunnellessani olin rustannut paperille. Päällimäisenä mieleeni biisistä jäi ehdottomasti puhdas ja kaunis, mutta myös erittäin vahva laulu, joka porautuu suoraan selkäytimeen aiheuttaen suunnattomia kylmiä väreitä. Vaikka laulajaa nyt kovin hehkutankin ei muuta orkesteria pidä yhtään väheksyä. Soundillisesti biisi on täyteläistä, mutta silti jykevää kuin kallio ja yhdistettynä lauluun on lopputulos veret seisauttava kokonaisuus. Täytyy vielä mainita, että biisissä esiintyvä veikeä banjo!"
