I play flutes, percussion, guitars and I also use my voice. Most of the sounds you hear are made by me - I rarely use synths - though some of the "natural" sounds are obviously quite heavily processed. About half the music I do is purely flutes over background "drones". This music tends to follow a "theme and improvisation" model, is loosely influenced by Northern Indian music, and is made with an eye toward being used for relaxation, meditation, yoga, massage, etc. The other music that I play is more percussion-based, and is roughly influenced by ideas in Middle-Eastern music, which I studied for a few years.
