Back with another mix of the new! I didn't go into this one thinking about a particular style or theme, just went with the flow and it ended up being a smattering of new goodness. Highlights include new stuff from JR & PH7, the German hip-hop producers responsible for one of my favorite beats of the last few years ("Top Rank"). Andreya Triana is the superdope singer on Ninja Tune and I've been loving everything she's been releasing. Ann Arbor-born artist and Ghostly Int'l signee Shigeto has been coming correct with the atmospheric instrumentals, so I included a drop from his latest EP "What We Held On To." Versis is a Cali-native that I know next to nothing about, but I copped his new album "iLLCANDESCENT" and thoroughly dig what the man is doing.
So check it out.
