With over 25 years in singing, songwriting and recording, Trudee brings a variety of artistic skills as a singer/songwriter, “top line” lyricist, acoustic guitarist, music publisher, producer and rhythmic/melodic poet. Holding a Bachelor of Arts in Music with minors in English and Business from the University of Redlands in California, she’s worked and collaborated with a multitude of industry experts on hundreds of songs as a professional member of many organizations including the National Academy of Songwriters, Los Angeles Songwriters Showcase, Nashville Songwriters International Association, Songsalive, SongNet, Songwriters Vantage and Los Angeles Songwriters Co-op.
Her diverse catalog has been featured in film and worldwide digital releases as well as co-written &/or recorded by such notable performing artists as John Jorgenson (guitarist for Elton John, the Desert Rose Band and the Hellecasters), Josie Aiello (Quincy Jones’ Qwest artist), Melissa Kaplan (Universal Hall Pass), Teresa James (Texas Blues/L.A. session singer), Briana Nadeau (soulful L.A. session singer), Jody Whitesides (award-winning JPF artist), Eddie Cunningham (award-winning Country artist), Brian Brazil (award-winning Blues vocalist and harmonica pro), plus numerous others. She’s worked in various recording studios with many distinguished producers including Edward Tree (touring guitarist for Spencer Davis) and Gary Mallaber (drummer for Steve Miller Band).
Affiliated with many music websites as a BMI music publisher where her assortment of songs are distributed, Trudee’s lyric and recording selections include varied genres of Pop, Rock, Country, Dance, Blues, Folk, Adult Contemporary Ballads, R&B and commercial jingles. She’s also known online as “Green Music Lady” with a unique passion for creative message songs about the environmental and social causes.
Trudee’s won accolades from Billboard Magazine for “I Knew There Was A Song” and from Travel Weekly Magazine for “Caribbean Cruise”. Her composition “Good Friends” is featured in the documentary “Unconditional Love: The AIDS Heartline Story” and also in Pets-For-Vets story videos. With song hooks that sound like jingles, she co-wrote the "Revitalize-U" theme with composer David Steele. Her song "(Let's Get) Wired" was featured in the 2012 film trailer for "Goats" with X-Files' David Duchovny.
